According to reports, Thai officials have announced that an autopsy will be performed on Carradine this Friday.

Officials have confirmed that Carradine was found hanging in the closet naked. The actor showed no sign of struggle and was discovered by a maid.

Jim Wynorski, the director of a film Carradine had just wrapped up shooting last week said the actor was, “jovial, full of life, and kept everyone laughing on the set.”

According to Wynorski the apparent suicide “just doesn’t at all seem like him.”

However reports exist that Carradine had wrestled with suicidal thoughts long before his death this morning.

In 2004, the actor revealed to the Telegraph Newspaper that he once considered shooting himself stating, “Look, there was a period in my life when I had a single action Colt 45, loaded, in my desk drawer.

And every night I’d take it out and think about blowing my head off, and then decide not to and go on with my life. Put it back in the drawer and open up the laptop and continue writing my autobiography or whatever. But it was just to see.”
