Marijuana, however, is not one you would expect to be on that “celebrity rehab list.” It is, now, thanks to Eric Roberts admittance into VH1′s Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.

Julia’s older brother and the father of Emma Roberts is allegedly shacking up with such famous folks as Jeremy London, Janice Dickinson, and Leif Garrett in order to kick the habit.

“Eric quit drugs and alcohol in 1995,” the actor’s wife, Eliza Roberts (an actress and casting director as well), told E! News. “He has no interest in anything, other than marijuana.”

Audience, do you think it’s possible to get that addicted to marijuana or does Eric simply want the attention? Is marijuana as “hard” as alcohol or even heroin?

Angelina Jolie may play an indestructible CIA officer accused of being a Russian spy in Salt, however she is not the first to kick behind and look impossibly sexy while doing it.

Sure, Jolie may be the best at her “craft,” but the adoption addict is also defined by these five other women, who too, kick serious a##.

Sigourney Weaver

Weaver is synonymous with fierceness, thanks mostly to her role in Alien. Weaver, out of sheer survival, transformed into a ferocious protective instinct and starred in the 1979 original, directed by Ridley Scott. “Get away from her, you b***h!” rode her all the way to DirectTV commercials.

Linda Hamilton

Similar to Weaver, Linda Hamilton’s kicked a-hole in both the original and sequel. Tell me that the shot of her doing pull-ups in the state hospital does not intrigue you. Also, tell me that whether it’s cyborgs or humans, no one would want to mess with Hamilton.

Uma Thurman

Quentin Taratino’s muse never fails to make some bodies hurt, especially in the Kill Bill flicks. Like Sarah Connor, Thurman’s character has maternal instinct as a motivating force behind her trail of death and destruction.

Michelle Yeoh & Zhang Ziyi 

Not only one but two actress in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon rise to fame through some serious pain. They’re both strong and feminine, beautiful and intelligent, athletic and crafty. Also, their fight scenes are lush and hypnotic under Ang Lee’s direction with choreography by Yuen Wo-Ping (The Matrix).

Jane Fonda

It’s never been easy to operate a laser gun effectively while dressed in go-go dominatrix gear. Barbella, which initially suffered under poor reviews, has since received some cult status. Fonda, after all, was all the hair and legs and campy sex appeal a futuristic, intergalactic warrior goddess needed.

In a week when it would appear that Sarah Palin could do nothing wrong, a story related to her immediate family slyly whizzed past the noses of the media undetected - finally, at last, making it appear as if Mama Grizzly has the upper hand.

Palin, who exploded across the Web and through various media outlets with her “Mama Grizzlies” video appears to be taking the first in what could be many subtle hints toward her campaign for presidency in 2012.

Yet while this was all going down, her daughter – Bristol – also had some important news.

Bristol, who infamously announced that she was pregnant during the McCain/Palin run in 2008 has since had an “on-again, off-again” relationship with sugar-daddy Levi Johnston. First, it was their love at the 2008 Republican National Convention. Then it was Levi slamming the family and doing Playgirl. Now, they’re back in each other’s arms and reportedly engaged.

Levi, who has since apologized to the family, helped sparked big-time searches after the news of the engagement surfaced. Immediately, the Web became flooded with ”bristol palin engaged,” “bristol and levi engaged,” and “bristol palin pictures”.

While the media did not take this golden opportunity to take another shot at Palin, individuals on the Web certainly did not skp a beat. Some, for example, speculated that a reality show starring the two lovebirds was forthcoming. Others, are helping spread the rumors that Sarah didn’t hear about the engagement until she read about it in the papers.

Regardless of the gossip, could it be possible that the media is past taking a dig at Palin’s personal life and more interested in her politics?

The Mama Grizzly has hooked us all.

Yet in the old days (such as 2007), the middle of July would have been far too early to start thinking about the Oscars. Back then, Hollywood loaded up its prestige fare in the fall so that it would stays fresh in the minds of Academy voters.

Last year, however, that all changed with four of the ten Best Picture nominees – include Hurt Locker – released in mid-summer.

Consequently, TPH decided to take a journey down the good, bad, and downright awful in the first half of 2010.

Leonardo DiCaprio

Leonardo is killing it. First, he did wonders with Shutter Island, another SCORE with Martin Scorsese followed by the recent release of Inception. The trailers may leave you more confused than philosophy from Flavor Flav, but you’ll have to admit that Inception looks incredibly cool. It’s the engaging storyline mixed with the special effects. And of course, it doesn’t hurt that Christopher Nolan is directing this piece either.

Toy Story 3

I’m 23 yet I enjoyed the third version of this fantastic series as much as I enjoyed the original some ten to fifteen years ago. How is it that Pixar can make movies that both kids and adults will enjoy? They did marvels with Toy Story 3 and might be the only studio in Hollywood that routinely produces hits consistently now.

Valentine’s Day

The only love this disaster showcased is the affection you have for deeply regretting you just spent $20 with your date (or your hand in other cases) to attend this dreadful piece of cinema. How can one mess up with a cast that included Julia Roberts, Jamie Foxx, Kathy Bates, Jessica Alba, and Patrick Dempsy? Trust us, it happened.

Sex and the Pity

Could somebody please make it all end? Haven’t we all seen enough of Sarah Jessica Parker. Apparently not. Just ask the thousands who flocked to see the women do Abu Dhabi, as if they haven’t slept with everyone including half of all Hollywood Executives by now. Please stop killing my brain cells! You’re truly worst than video games.

Oh, Jen

Seriously, has Jennifer Aniston been a part of anything worth watching since her role as Rachel in Friends ended in 2004? Jennifer has already provided us with one miserable film in 2010 (The Bounty Hunter) and sadly I don’t think that will be the last of her. Equally bad was fellow Jen Lopez in The Back-Up Plan more adequately titled, “The Absolutely Last Movie You Should Ever See.”

Is it possible…more good than bad for Hollywood in the first half of 2010? As far as the mainstream goes, it certainly appears to be heading in that direction.

Scared Straight.

Perhaps Lindsay Lohan could have used similar treatment as a youth. The former child star was sentenced to 90 days in jail last week and is apparently traumatized by even the thought of being locked up.

According to sources, Lindsay ”can’t stand being confined to small spaces, and she can never be alone.”

Apparently it’s so bad that when Lindsay flew back from France in May, she asked a friend to fly from Los Angeles to Paris, just so she would have someone to fly home with her.

Lohan is likely to serve time at Lynwood – the infamous stomping grounds for Paris Hilton back in 2007.

The arguably beautiful, unintelligent, and horrific actress has been known to play the field (the football field that is) which makes her recent trade from Cowboys star quarterback (Tony Homo) to former San Francisco 49ers tight end Eric Johnson all the more interesting. 

Johnson, who last played for the New Orleans Saints in 2008, reportedly split from his wife earlier this year and is now dating Jessica Simpson.

Which is terrific, if, anyone did indeed still care about Jessica Simpson.

Coleman’s slong is swimming across the Internet, much to the displeasure of the guy in charge of the footage. 

Ron Carlson, the director behind the doc Midgets vs. Mascots (where the footage first appeared) fired off a nasty letter to the publishers at Kikster, accusing them of illegal activity.

Carlson referred to the video as “a direct and blatant violation of our Rights and quite frankly offensive on so many disturbing levels.”

The angry director has given the Web site two options - remove the footage immediately or pay $10,000,000.

What would you do?

As previously reported on TPH, Lindsay Lohan’s assistant walked out the door after she allegedly would not put up with Lindsay’s crazy lifestyle any longer.

…And so the drama begins…

New guy, we’ll call him “Dave”, reportedly “couldn’t keep up” and was axed after just a couple of weeks. Old assistant, we’ll call her “Second Thoughts”, apparently wants her gig back because she needs to “pay her bills.” Then, there is really old assistant, the one from Lindsay’s “golden years.” We’ll call her “Golden”.

Golden would like the job back as much as Second Thoughts, even though the job pays way less than it once did. The kicker? Second Thoughts and Golden also happen to be roommates.

…And so the battle begins.

Sounds like it could be a reality show on VH1, am I right?
