Give me a break.

If I need marriage advice, I damn sure am not consulting movie stars. No offense, but Hollywood is the complete formula for what NOT what to do with your sacred relationship. They run through marriages in a given year like Toyota does bad brakes.

And just like a highly dependable Toyota, you never know when they’re going to stop.

Ten to twenty years ago, television executives would have laughed this idea off as highly childish. Yet, in desperate times – we receive desperate measures. I know NBC is really hurting right now, but The Marriage Ref is not the answer to win back viewers. We need to go back to a time and age where stars were actually paid to act – not paid to voice their opinion for “the common good.”

Thankfully, the rest of America may understand my gripe. The Marriage Ref has been nearly a complete disaster since it first aired. We the people deserve better entertainment than this!

Thus, I hereby decree a petition below to demand better entertainment from NBC. Who wants to join me?

Because, even you and I could better.
