You mean to tell me the past five years while rooting desperately for Jim and Pam to hook up was all in vain? That just when I thought they were going to walk down the isle, this happened?

Jenna Fischer, known as the affectionate Pam Beesly on NBC’s hit “The Office,” is going to tie the knot with writer Lee Kirk on June 30th, officially making him the luckiest writer I’ve heard about in quite some time.
And while it’s the second marriage for Fischer, 35, it’s the first time for Kirk, 37. We should all be happy, the dude was chasing 40 and never married.
…Come to think about it, I’m a writer with no marriage in sight.

Although Fischner and Kirk been dating since January of last year, they stepped out publicly for the first time at the Emmy Awards in September 2008, when Fischer described Kirk to People as “my super-cute boyfriend.”
That is, well, for a lack of a better term – super cute.
