Sucks to Be You: T.I. gets T.O.
Rappers always need to outdo each other by pretending to get shot, buying fake guns, and talking non-stop about selling drugs. Oh yeah, don’t forget the numerous references to girls as classy and elegant women either.
Rapper T.I. took the rapper rep a little too far, and thus will get a T.O. in prison for quite some time – a year and one day to be exact.
The Atlanta federal court system sentenced the 28-year old rapper with no talent to one year in prison for weapon charges related to buying machine guns and silencers. I actually thought the sentence was intended to prevent T.I. from every making music again.
T.I., who really goes by the name Clifford Harris, will also pay over $100,000 in fines. He received the usual blue collar treatment for dudes with a lot of cash, allowing T.I. between 30-60 days to report to prison.
I would like to open up discussion to the ThingsWhitePeopleHate fan base and predict odds of T.I. skipping the slammer and going on the run.
Another odd we can bet on is whether T.I. will turn himself in closer to the 30 days or 60 days. My money is on the later.
The funny thing is people actually feel sorry for this guy who intentionally bought something you would only find on the front lines of a war. Even worse, MTV, who is the crap producing media capital of the world – dedicated a show to T.I.’s “ressurection” and swift “recovery.”
You got to be kidding me.

For a one year sentence I think the odds he goes on the run are pretty slim, say 5%. I can guarantee he’ll show up on day 59 and 3/4ers.
Maybe he’ll hire a look-alike to do the time for him.

I like the odds Trent. Are you sure you didn’t copy those off Vegas? They’re very accurate.

I would put the fleeing odds closer to 50%. A dude willing to stockpile an arsenal wouldn’t think twice about fleeing.

That’s true Dave. Way to think outside the box!

TI is not nearly as bad a rapper as you say. He had to have the guns to retain his street cred….he wasn’t going to use them or anything. T.I. being sent to jail will only improve his ability to sell rap albums. He’ll show up and probably get released early for good behavior.

I don’t know if you can take anyone’s musical tastes seriously when they go by the name of R’Dizzle, but you’re right about selling more albums post-prison.

R’Dizzle is the shizzle. So is T.I. Don’t disagree or he’ll mow you down with his machine gun.

I wouldn’t know a T.I. song if it bit me on the lip, but I have to agree with Mr. R’Dizzle. His jail sentence will help his career. Therefore a one percent chance T.I. will flee.
