White People Hate the word “Caucasian.”
Did anyone actually expect white people to embrace the term that when spoken sounds like it is trying to refer to the pole rising from the genitalia of an eastern man? I mean seriously, why not come up with a more creative name for white people? A name like Milkskinese or Glareicans would have been far more appropriate than the name “Caucasian.” I mean, where exactly did the word “Caucasian” come from and what does it mean? Was it derived as some sick man’s way of implying that white people were birthed from the groin of an Asian man? Since this is an ever so important issue we here at TWPH.com deployed our most senior investigative reporter to get to the bottom of this. After months of research (ok, maybe it would have been 10 seconds of research had we used dictionary.com, but we wanted to be thorough and instead relied on field research in the sub-Saharan dessert of Africa…now that’s commitment) we came across this definition.
Caucasian- of, pertaining to, or characteristic of one of the traditional racial divisions of humankind, marked by fair to dark skin, straight to tightly curled hair, and light to very dark eyes, and originally inhabiting Europe, parts of North Africa, western Asia, and India: no longer in technical use.
Um, huh? So are we fair skinned or dark skinned? Straight haired or curly haired? Did we come from Europe, Asia or Africa? Wait, I’m African? Does this mean I am African? I’m taking a mental health day, this is just too much to absorb at once. Peace.

In anthropological studies there are actually 5 races.
These are
1) Mongoloid (Asian and American Indian)
2) Caucasoid (European)
3) Australoid (Australian and oceanic)
4) ******* (east African black)
5) Capoid (south African black)
and yes, supposedly the entire human race came from Africa long ago.

I am not sure what this guy is on about, but I find it very small minded where people say “white” and not use the correct word Caucasian.
Its probably from greek latin which is an old language, ah small minded people.

Caucasian comes from the Caucasus, between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea. The people who would become Europeans probably originated in the Middle East, and passed through the Caucasus region heading north, then turned west into eastern Europe.
You are free do use white if you like, but at least do your homework, you dolt.

Two points: Caucasian is not a synonym for “white,” which generally means European (and maybe some Middle Eastern). Whites are a subset of Caucasian, which includes Indians (from India), Arabs, ethnic Jews, Iranians, as well as Europeans. Defining characteristics are that we generally lack epicanthic eye folds and have protruding noses. Dark-skinned Caucasians come mainly from India, and may perhaps include some Middle Eastern people.

Celebrity Hater, you are a small minded dumb-ass. Try looking the word in the dictionary before you go on about how stupid it is. For the record, I am white and I prefer the term Caucasian. You give th human race a bad name.

I hate the word Caucasian because it’s outdated, over-simplistic, and above all else, inaccurate. These racial divisions are based on anthropological theories from over a century ago, and the American Anthropological Association no longer even considers race to be anything more than a social construct. Speaking of society, our society doesn’t seem to treat people from the Middle East or India like “Caucasians”. If anything, I prefer the term “European American” – It sounds nicer and it parallels to the other racial terms we use.

Although I don’t hate the term ‘caucasian’, I couldn’t agree with you more.

Caucasian people were birthed by an albino Negroid. Whom may have been cast out of the tribe dued to this skin deficiency. Albinism is a dificient in pigmentation. Historically leopard is a skin disorder within the african tribes. So if mankind can not define where this disorder came from. It sure is questionable. Lot’s of caucasian people have pigmentation disorders and suffer from servere dry skin. Caucasians also mixed with a darker race of people to create a healthy looking skin tone. As oppose to albino skin. Which they did in slavery. That’s why there are different caucasoid skin tones. caucasian were birthed just like the spanish people. Both Caucasoid and Spaniard are the offspring of the negroid tribes.
