Jefferson Gets Cold Feet

Former New Jersey Net star and newly acquired San Antonio Spur Richard Jefferson may have a future in basketball but not with his fiancee.

This of course coming after Jefferson bailed on his fiancee days/hours (depending on who you ask) before the two were suppose to wed.  

Jefferson pulledhe plug on his posh Manhattan wedding without even alerting some of the guests and waiting a couple of hours before the ceremony to notify others.

The Forward was maybe a little too forward with the decision to ditch one time Net dancer Kesha Ni’Cole Nichols (Google the name to check out this hot babe).

Nichols immediately called family and friends to announce that the ceremony was off. The wedding, estimated at a cool $2 million, will obviously never take place (at least not for the foreseeable future). 

According to a friend of Jefferson, for the people that did show up for the non-existant wedding, Jefferson left his best friend “the Black Amex [credit card] for the night.”

Jefferson’s guests made good use of the credit card to party on their pal’s dime.

Nichols did check in to the hotel on what was to have been her wedding day, and was upgraded to a suite on the 45th floor with a king-sized bed and a Central Park view (oh, how nice!), according to a source at the Mandarin.
