Bringing Reality to the WWE
The old WWE tagline, “Get the F out of here,” was nearly replaced Sunday night with the tagline, “Under-Cooked Meat.”
Professional wrestling may be as fake as Pamela Anderson’s boobs, but every once and awhile the organization does something to truly make the show feel authentic. Take The Undertaker’s entrance Sunday night during the Elimination Chamber event in St. Louis for example. As The Undertaker proceeded down the runway, some rogue pyrotechnics went off and shot a direct fireball at the man’s face.
But instead of doing the stop, drop, and roll, the wrestler shook it off, threw his jacket to the floor, and entered the ring rather casually.
According to reports, The Undertake was checked by medics before the match, and his only injury was comparable to a sunburn on his chest.
Those steroids must be really strong!
