A day before Celeb Haters’ precious Dodgers were eliminated from the postseason, McCourt pulled off a move that not even Jon Gosselin has the nuts to do.

McCourt’s wife, Jamie, was fired from her job as co-CEO of the Los Angeles Doddgers a day before the team was eliminated from the playoffs. The “Notice of Termination” which was mailed by Frank (and picked up by TMZ.com) was sent just two weeks shy of the couple’s 30th wedding anniversary.

Ouch.

A copy of the original letter is posted below:

“Dear Jamie — This is to inform you that your employment with and positions as Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairperson of Los Angeles Dodgers LLC, as well as any and all of the positions that you hold … are hereby terminated effective immediately.” 

“Because your employment is held at-will, the Organization is not required to have cause to terminate your employment and may do so for any reason or no reason at all.”

However, your actions, including, but not limited to, your insubordination, non-responsiveness, failure to follow procedures, and inappropriate behavior with regard to a direct subordinate, have made this decision necessary.

TMZ also reports that when Jamie showed up for work today, her office was locked and notified by an assistant that the lock had already been changed.

Could this “business” decision rival the cold blooded and shallow decision Robert Irsay made with the Colts?
