tk The Guy Who Asks a Lot of Questions Steps DownTony Kornheiser, the guy well known on Monday Night Football that asks a lot of questions is stepping down from the booth.

Kornheiser who spent three years alongside Mike Trico and Ron Jeworski on MNF is deciding to hang up his…um…headphones?

Former Oakland Raiders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Jon Gruden will replace Kornheiser in the booth. Gruden, who is known for his on-field grimances and “Chucky” comparisons should make a nice addition.

Kornheiser, who hosts the Pardon the Interuption with Michael Wilbon on ESPN has a well-documented fear of flying and cited this year’s hectic schedule as his reason for living. What is this guy John Madden?

Kornheiser who often asked a lot of question to RJ during the Monday Night games served a different role than the usual color commentator. Part of the reason might have been because he never played professional football and instead spent years working as a sports journalist.

It will be nice to finally see both Kornheiser and Wilbon on the a same show of PTI.

Think the new “Chucky” replacement is a good fit on MNF? Let us know on Things White People Hate.
