Shawn Johnson, the world’s most famous 17 year old Olympic gymnastic icon turned “Dancing with the Stars” stud has recently found that you can’t handstand you way out of life.
Johnson is picking up fans left and right, and some of them appear to want more than they bargain for.
Johnson obtained a restraining order Wednesday against a man who was arrested after jumping the fence at CBS Studios in an attempt to contact Johnson during the taping of “Dancing with the Stars.”
The LA police report cites that the suspect’s vehicle included a loaded .45 handgun, loaded shotgun, and materials generally used for kidnapping such as duct tape, zip ties, and a map to the victim’s house.
Police also found love letters, clippings, and other information related to Johnson.
According to reports, the suspect had told police he packed all his belongings and left his life in Yullee, Florida to be with Johnson in California. The suspects states that, “Johnson speaks directly to him through the television and that they will have a child together.
Shawn Johnson’s mother, Teri, released a statement citing that Shawn, “is in fear for her life, she is extremely upset by this incident, and her entire family and those around are all extremely concerned and fearful that the suspect might try to kidnap her or harm her in an effort to make good on his statements.”
A hearing on the recent arrest involving the suspect will take place on April 14.
